Req.#616434867 **Responsibilities** + Collaborate with the development team to implement best practices for Salesforce release management with Copado and a documented change management process: + Responsible for defining, implementing, and executing the Salesforce release process + Execute a back promotion process + Be an expert in the Copado tool, understand its ins and outs, configure such as adding an environment to a pipeline and rotating credential passwords, championing best practices, remaining up to date with new and planned features, and evangelize its utility to the Salesforce team and the business + Be an expert on Git and how it is implemented in our environments + Manage the release process of Salesforce enhancements across all environments, from development to production, ensuring that releases are delivered on time and with the highest level of quality: + Execute releases on a defined schedule + Responsible for promotion bundling through environments + Resolve merge conflicts, deployment errors, feature regression, and environment issues + Ensure that all release-related documentation is accurate and up to date, including release notes, deployment guides, and other relevant documentation + Accountable for the overall health of QA, UAT, and Production environments, including back promotions, refreshes, and manual changes: + Provision test environments and users within them + Advise leadership on environment requirements to ensure their availability within our Salesforce licensing agreements + Create sandbox environments and provision users in sandbox as necessary + Develop metrics on DevOps processes within Copado and deliver reports on a regular basis + Responsible for new user onboarding and provisioning + Identify and confirm technical risks and develop mitigating approaches + Collaborating closely with the global IT business applications teams where applicable + Following TM PMO Project Management methodologies and Agile for successful delivery of projects + Ensuring that our systems are kept safe, secure, and compliant **Requirements** + Career Salesforce professional + Copado Fundamentals I, Fundamentals II, and Consultant certifications + 2-5 years’ experience in a DevOps release management role including resolving conflicts and troubleshooting real-world deployment issues + 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a technical capacity on the Salesforce platform, using Salesforce Apex and Lightning Components (Aura or Lightning Web Components) + Strong working knowledge of Jira + Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams + Knowledge of Salesforce development best practices, including version control (GIT), release management, and typical change management processes + Advanced knowledge of development and configuration capabilities and nuances on the Salesforce Platform preferably through experience as a hands-on developer + Advanced troubleshooting capabilities with Salesforce deployments, with a strong understanding of the resources available to troubleshoot such as online Communities, product support, and documentation: + Strong understanding of how Copado handles Salesforce metadata on the back end, particularly special cases such as Profiles and Permission Sets + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality + Completed one or more enterprise-level projects through the full project lifecycle – requirements, design, build, test, and deployment + Ability to travel for training, occasional team meetings, and projects, including international travel (~20% max, typically 2-3 weeks/year) **Benefits** + Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (Subsidized) + Health Savings Account + Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care, Commuter) + Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (Company Provided) + Life and AD D Insurance (Company Provided) + Employee Assistance Program + Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions + Matched 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan + Paid Time Off – the employee will be eligible to accrue 15-25 paid days, depending on specific level and tenure with EPAM (accrual eligibility may change over time) + Paid Holidays - nine (9) total per year + Legal Plan and Identity Theft Protection + Accident Insurance + Employee Discounts + Pet Insurance + Employee Stock Purchase Program + If otherwise eligible, participation in the discretionary annual bonus program + If otherwise eligible and hired into a qualifying level, participation in the discretionary Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Program **About EPAM** + EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $120k– $165k.
