Position Summary: This position is an influential business partner to senior leadership team and cross functional community, with a core accountability of transforming brand building capabilities by redefining the application of insights e analytics to unlock growth and deliver results. The incumbent will partner closely across a range of brand building initiatives, directly shaping strategic business plans and fueling new ways of applying learning to solve business challenges. This position is responsible for proactively partnering with brand, integrated marketing and R&E teams on development, management and execution of North American Learning Plans to achieve brand strategies. The candidate will be looked upon to build talent of others by developing and sharing best practices with both GMRA and broader multi-functional teams. This role requires a confident and inspirational leader with a successful track record developing and implementing strategic plans, building relationships with and influencing senior leaders. Primary Accountabilities and Expectations: The candidate is accountable for: Partner with cross-functional teams to help identify relevant business issues, research objectives and hypotheses to address brand questions and needs. Develop the appropriate learning plans to evaluate hypotheses that can assist in meeting business objectives and utilize appropriate analytic techniques to develop and test hypotheses, draw relevant inferences and create recommendations to define business opportunities. Synthesize, interpret, and apply information/data to establish facts and develop insights to provide new perspectives on the category, consumers, and innovation pathways. Manage the engagement of marketing research and analytics projects, including external research suppliers, to ensure the research and analytics are executed in an accurate, timely, and cost-efficient manner. Translate exponential change in data, technology, and consumer touchpoints into core focused capability areas for the organization. Lead with the application of behavioral understanding to brand building. Apply sound understanding of current and emerging research methodologies, action as the functional expert in the application of consumer practices. Has intense curiosity to learn the business, the consumer, the market Up to 10% travel may be required. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree 7 plus years of experience of consumer insights experience Demonstrated examples of personal leadership leveraging consumer insights/research to develop story for brand Ability to work effectively with all levels of business team management Ability to coach others and build organizational talent relative to market research and strategic thought Working knowledge of technical market research skills Proven ability in translating data to knowledge to actionable recommendations Proven ability to integrate data from different data sources to provide clarity and direction to multi-functional team Strong influencing skills to convince partners and management on strategic direction Excellent written and communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced degree Experience across a range of categories Experience in brand building (positioning, architecture development), innovation and commercial execution Direct experience driving innovation from initial concept development through to in-market measure and success Global and/or shopper experience Ability to partner with and build relationships with colleagues from different cultures Kimberly-Clark and its well-known global brands are an indispensable part of life for people in more than 175 countries.
