The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing will be instrumental in the strategic frame-up and flawless execution of Samsung´s external eCommerce initiatives partnering with Best Buy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and cultivate collaborative relationships with Best Buy to accelerate digital sales, drive strategic Joint Business Planning and fundamentally elevate the Samsung brand at the leading electronics retailer in the US. This role is essential in our quest to drive world-class, business-moving delivery of the Samsung brand and its broad range of products. Areas of Responsibility: * Partner with marketing and sales and ecommerce teams to prioritize online efforts based on broader strategic objectives and joint business planning * Deep integration into key product category, understand fundamental strategies, business drivers, shopper insights, business KPIs, etc * Define standards, policies and procedures driving eCommerce execution with retail-partner digital properties ecosystems * Ensure flawless implementation of local/global initiatives at * Stay plugged in to industry trends, best practices and technological innovations. refine / evolve strategies accordingly * Communicate eCommerce strategy to business partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities * Interface with Global HQ to align strategies and share shining examples * Partners cross-functionally to find efficiencies and cross-leverage opportunities Key Deliverables * Deliver best in class shopper experiences across retailer digital platforms (web, mobile, app, etc) * Deliver value to retail partners via differentiated capabilities that drive conversion, traffic, upsell, attachment, AOV, ASP * Build and manage programs (roadmaps, timelines, budgets, approvals) * Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks * Manage inter-org external partner (vendor) relationships * Closely align project roadmaps with the eCommerce team to jointly drive digital excellence **Necessary Skills / Attributes** Requirements The successful candidate will have the following experience: * 5+ years’ experience in digital and/or omni-channel marketing with demonstrated subject-matter expertise * Demonstrated ability to develop, sell-in and execute flawlessly strategic concepts with retailer partners Experience partnering with retailers to deliver strategic initiatives * Superior strategic and analytical skills. experience evaluating volumes of data and making strategic recommendations * Demonstrated comfort with and passion for technology The Person The Senior Manager, Partner eCommerce must have excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating a strategic vision and path for getting there. Other characteristics include: * Desire to be a part of something big and fast-moving * Enthusiasm for technology Samsung products, with strong understanding of trends in consumer electronics mobile industries * Ability to work within a deadline-oriented, delivery-centered, fast-paced, matrixed team environment * Energetic, charismatic, collaborative self-starter.
